Claims Processor

Are you an experienced Claims Processor with the drive to succeed and a passion for helping others? BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is looking for an experienced Claims Processor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and reviewing insurance claims as part of our commitment to providing excellent customer service.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a claims processing or related role. They must also possess excellent attention to detail, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong knowledge of medical terminology and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Process and review medical insurance claims with accuracy and attention to detail Maintain a strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance regulations Demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers Remain current on all insurance regulations and policy changes Ensure that all claims are processed in a timely manner Follow up with customers when needed to resolve any issues Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and efficient manner Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to tight deadlines BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
