Security Sales Engineer

Security Operations Sales Engineer Location: Onsite in San Jose, CA or Dallas, TX Salary: $200,000-$250,000 OTE (DOE) Requirements:

• 10+ Years of Experience in Information Security
• 10+ Years of consultancy experience

We are a well-established and growing cybersecurity company. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Security Operations Sales Engineer to join our team with a unique blend of technical knowledge and business acumen. The Security Operations Sales Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise and demonstrating the value of our security solutions to potential clients. This position focuses on understanding customer needs, showcasing product capabilities, and facilitating the sales process through technical knowledge and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer requirements and provide tailored security solutions.
• Present technical demonstrations and proof of concepts to prospective clients.
• Support the development of go-to-market strategies across all solutions by providing project engineering, marketing assistance, customer conversations and industry expertise.
• Understand and assess customer requirements, objectives, and current environments to recommend improvements and develop relevant solutions.
• Stay updated on the latest security trends, technologies, and threats to effectively communicate with clients.
• Assist in the onboarding of new clients and provide ongoing technical support post-sale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Security Operations and Information Security roles.
• Strong background in technical sales around MDR and/or Security Operations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in Cyber Risk Management, Data Analytics, and Project Management is a plus.
• Skills in DevOps, Big Data, Machine Learning, or Serverless Computing.
• Strong understanding of large-scale computing solutions and experience leading deep architecture discussion.
• Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
