Finance Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management, corporate accounting, and reporting. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy of financial data, compliance with regulatory standards, and the overall financial health of the organization. The Finance Manager will work closely with executive leadership to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
• Lead the financial management processes including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Conduct account reconciliation and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Implement effective revenue management strategies to optimize income streams.
• Oversee cost accounting practices to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
• Interpret financial reports for stakeholders, providing insights into performance metrics and trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; a Master's degree or CPA is preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably as a Director of Finance or similar position.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, IFRS standards, and corporate accounting principles.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and interpretation.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage complex financial data effectively.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing finance teams and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Exceptional communication skills to convey financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proficiency in financial software applications (QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills are essential.
