InnoTech Summer Undergraduate Internship – Aetna Tech – Data Scientist

Your Role: Key responsibilities include: • Participating in an 11-week full-time internship from May 28 – August 8, 2025. • Engaging in real work experience with a team in your business area. • Leading or contributing to projects while participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities. • Building "Aetna Insights" using cloud-agnostic and open-source technologies. • Automating telemetry data collection and developing machine learning, analytics, and Generative AI solutions. • Delivering technology initiatives and building trusted relationships with peer groups and business partners. About You: Candidates should possess the following: • Experience designing and building software applications with proficiency in Python & JavaScript. • Familiarity with building and training M/L models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn. • Strong understanding of software architecture, data structures, statistical concepts, data modeling, and model performance. • Leadership experience and strong communication skills. • Experience with Cloud development, CI/CD pipelines, and databases. • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026. Compensation & Benefits: • Hourly rate of $23.00 with 40 hours per week. • July 4th off (company holiday) and two days of paid leave. • A housing stipend may be provided based on eligibility. • Hybrid work model with three days in the office and two days remote.
