Picker/Packer - Urgently Hiring!!!

We are looking for a reliable and efficient Warehouse Picker/Packer to join our warehouse team at a leading gift card manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and organizing inventory for shipment. You will play a key role in ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, helping to deliver high-quality gift cards to customers on time. Key Responsibilities: • Order Picking: Accurately pick gift cards and associated products from inventory shelves based on customer orders, ensuring the right items and quantities are selected. • Packing: Safely and securely pack gift cards and other products for shipment, ensuring packaging meets quality standards and protects items during transit. • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring that stock levels are correct and that inventory is stored in an organized manner. • Shipping Prep: Prepare items for shipment, including labeling packages, generating shipping documentation, and ensuring all orders are ready for dispatch in a timely manner. • Quality Control: Inspect gift cards and other products for defects, ensuring that they meet the company's quality standards before packing and shipping. • Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following proper storage procedures and ensuring items are stocked correctly. • Order Tracking: Use warehouse management systems (WMS) or other inventory tools to track orders, update inventory levels, and report discrepancies. • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse team members, as well as with production and shipping departments, to ensure smooth and efficient order fulfillment. • Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and adhere to warehouse policies to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment. Skills & Qualifications: • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, packing, or order fulfillment role is preferred, but not required. On-the-job training will be provided. • Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately pick and pack orders, ensuring that all items are correctly selected and securely packaged. • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently to meet order deadlines. • Technology Skills: Basic computer skills for data entry and use of warehouse management systems (WMS) or barcode scanners. • Communication Skills: Good communication skills to interact effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments. • Team Player: Ability to work well with others in a team environment, contributing to the overall success of the warehouse operation. • Safety Awareness: Understanding of and adherence to warehouse safety procedures and guidelines. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience with barcode scanners or warehouse management software (WMS). • Familiarity with packaging and shipping protocols, including knowledge of various shipping carriers and methods.
