Retail Store Associates
Overview: We are seeking individuals who have culinary experience or a passion for food. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and assisting them with their purchasing needs. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with food in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities: - Greet customers and provide them with product information and assistance - Assist customers in finding the right products to meet their needs - Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system - Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and workspace, including restocking shelves and arranging displays and maintaining sanitation standards - Answer customer inquiries in person, over the phone, or via email - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to effectively communicate information to customers Experience: -Have a broad knowledge of cooking and the ability to share that knowledge with customers - Previous experience in food service is preferred but not required - Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong organizational skills to effectively manage inventory and merchandise displays - Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell products and services. -Basic knife skills -Ability to accurately follow recipes We offer competitive pay rates and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for our employees.
