Experienced Texas Family Law Paralegal (Remote Position) A solo attorney is seeking an experienced Texas family law paralegal to assist with divorce cases and case management. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Texas family law and divorce cases, excellent case management skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Requirements: • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Texas family law paralegal in a law firm setting, with extensive knowledge of divorce procedures and family law matters. • Case Management: Must be capable of managing divorce cases from start to finish, including setting hearings, coordinating with clients and opposing counsel, and ensuring timely case progress. • Experience working with divorce cases pending in Travis, Williamson counties. • Drafting & Procedure: Proficiency in drafting pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents specific to Texas family law. Experienced with document drafting software. • Training & Workflow Development: Assist in hiring and training an in-house legal assistant, as well as developing workflows and operating procedures to optimize case management. • Communication & Organization: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to follow up on case developments, and maintain professional client interactions. • Work Environment: Must have a quiet home office setup, with a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and necessary remote work equipment. You will be provided with additional access to our firm systems for case management. • Self-Motivation & Efficiency: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple cases efficiently. This is a remote contract position, and the ability to work autonomously while maintaining high professional standards is essential.
