Key Responsibilities • Oversee the accuracy and organization of inventory records while monitoring food and beverage costs. • Perform reconciliation of inventory purchases, usage, and waste to ensure financial integrity. • Conduct analysis of inventory trends to identify potential cost-saving measures. • Document daily transactions associated with inventory, ensuring accurate categorization. • Generate and assess financial reports to uphold data accuracy. • Support accounts payable and receivable functions pertaining to inventory purchases. • Ensure adherence to company policies and financial best practices. • Collaborate with management to refine inventory control processes and enhance reporting efficiency. • Maintain an organized and accessible system for inventory records. Required Skills • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation. • Strong analytical capabilities to interpret data and discern trends in inventory and costs. • Proficient organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines effectively. Qualifications • Prior experience in bookkeeping, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality sector. • Familiarity with TOAST POS and QuickBooks is highly advantageous.
