Senior SRE

Role: Senior SRE At Zarego, we specialize in software architecture and custom web and mobile app development. With over a decade of expertise, we deliver bold, innovative solutions for clients of all sizes, from visionary startups to multinational companies. We are looking for a Senior SRE to join a team that works on a complex distributed architecture, spanning physical machines and virtualizing on-prem host/cloud computing. Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as an SRE or in a similar role.

• Practical experience with Linux-based systems, focusing on optimization and troubleshooting 
• Strong proficiency in Python, particularly for scripting, automation, and system management.
• Strong knowledge of container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes (K8S). Experience with other cluster management tools (like Slurm) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Terraform, Helm, and Ansible to automate and scale infrastructure management
• Working knowledge of Docker, Podman, or other containerization systems to enable efficient and consistent deployment.
• Experience working with CI/CD tools, especially GitLab, GitHub, or Git
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Understanding of relational databases, their performance tuning, and management in distributed systems.
• Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS or GCP is a strong plus. 
• English: Advanced level
• Spanish is a plus!
