As the Pharmacy Technician - Home Delivery, you will be asked to shadow to demonstrate what right looks like as a fully proficient Technician. Positively contributes to overall team motivation and drives team engagement. As permitted by state regulation, interprets providers' prescriptions and creates order, assesses, inputs and retrieves prescription, medical/lab and reimbursement information from computer system. If you reside in Illinois or Iowa, you'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm CST Primary Responsibilities: ? Prescription requests ? Entry, billing, and submittal of the customer's order to fulfillment for delivery assist with operations support, training, and process improvements ? Contribute to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team content ? Creation/routing of pharmacy orders through receipt ? Demonstrate handling both inbound and outbound member/patient call ? Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data submit prescription orders in computer system ? May contact members/patients/providers to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order or delivery details ? Apply knowledge/skills to a range of moderately complex activities ? Demonstrate great depth of knowledge/skills in own function ? Act as a technical resource to others in own function ? Proactively identifies solutions to non-standard requests ? Solve moderately complex problems on own ? Work with team to solve complex problems ? Plan, prioritize, organize, and complete work to meet established objective ? Provide an exceptional customer experience with every interaction ? Provide a holistic approach to case management by completing the following duties for each customer assigned ? Extensive work experience within own function ? Work is frequently completed without established procedures ? Work independently ? Required Qualifications: ? Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (ExCPT or PTCB) or ability to obtain prior to start date ? 1 years of experience working in a retail pharmacy ? Currently resides in Illinois or Iowa ? Must be 18 years of age or older Preferred Qualifications: ? Previous healthcare experience ? Call center or telephonic work ? All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
