Dispatch Coordinator (Overnight Friday to Monday Coverage)

Communicating with customers and responding to their queries (via phone, email or fax) in a professional and timely manner. ? Track and Trace large volume of customer orders ? Entering, updating and processing customer orders on various interfaces. ? Ensure daily delivery schedules are adhered to, and all necessary documentation is returned to head office in an accurate and timely manner ? Handle client complaints provide appropriate solutions and alternative within the time limits: follow up to ensure resolution. ? Ensure and confirm pickup and delivery appointment for drivers ? Communicate specific freight requirements and procedures to drivers and ensure customers are well informed. ? Research and resolve all transactional problems to ensure reporting is reconciled in a timely manner ? Maintain co-operative working relationships among team and internal staff ? 2 years of sales and account management experience in transportation and logistics field is preferred ? Recent college or university degree in Marketing or Business-related field is required ? Previous experience in an analyst role and or in pricing function is an asset ? Ability to understand the business processing requirements using technology and conceptualize creative solutions to implement them ? Experience working B2B sales involving complex deals is an asset ? Strong knowledge and understanding of the sales planning process ? Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills & strong interpersonal and customer relation skills ? Strong negotiation skills with proven closing ability ? Ability to function independently with little or no supervision as well as function in a team environment ? Professional growth career ?
