Accurately transcribe audio recordings from depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings. ? Produce verbatim transcripts while strictly adhering to established style guides and client-specific requirements. ? Ensure precision and meticulous attention to detail in all transcription tasks. Required Skills ? Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription. ? Exceptional listening ability and literacy skills, including proficiency in comprehension, spelling, and grammar. ? Strong capacity to meet deadlines and adhere to client-specific style guides. ? Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote working environment. ? High typing proficiency, showcasing both speed and accuracy. ? Capability to process sensitive or extreme audio/text content. ? Familiarity with legal terminology is essential. Qualifications ? Significant experience in legal transcription is required. ? Proficiency in using Microsoft Word is necessary. ? Candidates must be able to pass a background check. ? Court reporting students will also be considered for this role.
