Position Overview We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to join our team for a temporary six-month contract, with the potential for a full-time role upon successful completion. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately transferring, modifying, and verifying data to ensure the integrity of our digital databases.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care. Enter customer and account data, including text and numerical information, from source documents within specified deadlines. Compile, verify, and organize information based on priorities for accurate computer entry. Review data for errors or inconsistencies, correct issues where possible, and ensure a polished final output. Research and gather additional details to complete incomplete documents. Apply data program techniques and follow established procedures. Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform regular backup operations.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with data entry principles and practices. Skills: Proficiency in touch typing and database management tools. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
