Bilingual Member Experience Health Insurance Agent (Spanish,Contract)

Stride Health empowers self-employed workers to do the work they love by giving them the tools to take control of their physical and financial well-being. We are looking for licensed insurance agents to help our members navigate the benefits industry with a high-touch, customer-centric experience. This position will be a temporary contractor position that will join our Member Experience Team during our busy open enrollment season. Stride is a digital-first benefits platform. Members can sign up for insurance directly on our website but at at times will need expert guidance. In this position, you'll be our member’s first point of contact when they reach out for support. Your goal will be to leverage your insurance knowledge to help our members find the best option for their unique needs. The majority of your day will be spent on the phone assisting members with their insurance enrollments and becoming an expert on the Stride experience. Please note that this is a temporary remote contract position with Stride Health which is paid hourly. This is not a commission-based role. The hours for this position will be 8 AM to 4 PM PST with some opportunity for overtime. You must be available to work between October and January.

Compensation

Range: $29-33/Hour Responsibilities: • Provide customers a seamless support experience • Follow-up with customers after enrollment in coverage to ensure they derive continued value from their investment in health, dental, or vision coverage • Help customers navigate the healthcare system (harnessing the power of Stride’s proprietary tools) • Quickly identify and resolve issues for customers when transactions and experiences don’t go exactly as planned • Comprehensively document phone calls and emails with members in Zendesk • Answer qualifying and benefit specific questions • Provide phone and email coverage for our members as scheduled Required Qualifications: • Licensed Insurance Agent • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Patience, empathy, and a unique ability to manage stress • Expert insurance knowledge and experience assisting individuals in signing up for health insurance • Comfortable working in a support or sales-based digital platform Added Bonus Qualifications: • Experience working with Healthcare.gov and/or other state based exchanges such as Covered California • Experience using Zendesk • 5+ State Licenses • Knowledge of ancillary insurance products Job Type: Contract Pay: $29.00 - $33.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week Benefits: • Work from home Language: • Spanish (Required) License/Certification: • Insurance Producer License (Required) Work Location: Remote Apply Job!
