Accounting Manager- Remote, Big 4/Public Acc Needed

About the Company: A leading health and wellness company offering innovative solutions and premium products. As the business continues to expand, they are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their dynamic team and support financial operations. Position Overview: The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting functions and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role requires experience managing in-house teams and remote overseas accounting support. The ideal candidate should be proficient in NetSuite, possess strong technical accounting skills, and have a deep understanding of inventory accounting. Experience in manufacturing and e-commerce environments is highly valued. The position offers remote flexibility for candidates on the West Coast, with quarterly office visits. Key Responsibilities: • Manage key aspects of accounting operations, including the general ledger, financial reporting, and compliance with GAAP standards • Reconcile accounts and proactively resolve discrepancies • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including financial statement preparation • Oversee inventory accounting, including cost tracking, valuation, and reporting • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to improve inventory control and streamline processes • Assist with external audits by providing documentation and explanations • Ensure compliance with government reporting requirements and tax filings • Manage both in-house and remote overseas accounting staff • Oversee processes for accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales tax, fixed assets, and prepaids • Process monthly transactions for revenue recognition, payroll, and sales tax Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred • Experience in manufacturing is required • 5+ years of accounting experience with a strong emphasis on GAAP and inventory accounting • Public/private accounting mix preferred • Proficiency in NetSuite is required • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities • Proven experience leading both in-house and remote teams Apply Job!
