About the role The Digital Banking Group is a hybrid team based in our Main Office, responsible for our deposit operations functions, payments operations functions (issuer debit card, ACH, and wire transfers), our digital customer-facing tools, and management of our Fiserv Cleartouch core. As a Digital Banking Specialist, you will be responsible for the Bank’s electronic payment business and infrastructure including wires, ACH, item processing and debit cards. You will be responsible for delivering and supporting all payment tools and related payment system interfaces, including the Federal Reserve, the Automated Clearing House and Mastercard networks. You will be the key point of contact for all card payment operations, consumer and business electronic payments and our digital business operations that support our client facing teams, including our Specialized Deposit Group. Responsibilities • Service •

  • Manage incoming and outgoing wire queues to ensure requests are properly authenticated, processed timely and accurately in accordance with established controls, while monitoring and mitigating for fraud risk.

• Manage electronic payments processed through the Automated Clearing House for receiving and originating activity to ensure timely and accurate handling of exception activity, dispute processing and file submission, while monitoring and mitigating for fraud and risk. • Manage card queues including card orders, fraud notifications, travels notifications, card adjustments and card maintenance, ensuring timely processing while mitigating for fraud and risk. • Manage alternative payment methods including exception processing for item processing related payment files and cash letter adjustments. • Monitor payment disputes to ensure disputes are processed timely and in accordance with applicable regulations • Monitor fraud mitigating alerts and rule performance, recommending strategies to minimize exposure and loss while limiting client impact. • Conduct client outreach for verification of high risk activity • Ensure compliance across all payment channels for payment related laws and regulations including but not limits to Regulation E, OFAC, NACHA and Mastercard rules. • Resolve complex issues related to the various payment channels, serving as the escalation point with vendors and internal teams. • Identify opportunities to develop or modify current workflows to further exchange client engagement with payment tools while maintaining sensitivity to risk. • Product •

  • Manage the electronic payment processing function and supporting business metrics and indicators for payment services including but not limited to usage, fraud monitoring and profitability.

• Contributed to the development and ongoing assessment of operational policy and procedures, adjusting as needed in response to operational or regulatory changes. • Assist in defining or enhancing product strategies for payment technologies to improve client experience and/or processing efficiencies related to payment operations. • Ability to manage incidents in terms of incident identification, scope, assessment, solution analysis, remediation and communication efforts to client internal teams and vendors through resolution.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have in-depth knowledge and service experience with electronic payment systems including wires, ACH, item processing and debit cards. Candidates will also demonstrate extensive knowledge of the rules and regulations governing payment processing, including but not limited to Regulation E, OFAC, NACHA and Mastercard Operating Rules. • Track record for outstanding academic performance • Strong analytical skill with the ability to collect, organize and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to apply logical and creative thinking to solve complex business problems. • Strong written and verbal communication skill, including ability to organize and present ideas and information in a simple, concise and unambiguous manner. • Resilient and able to work autonomously in the face of ambiguity Culture: • Do you believe there’s always room for improvement?
