During your Returnship you will have an opportunity to work with experienced HR professionals and assist with a variety of initiatives focused on enhancing the end-to-end employee experience, including onboarding, employee engagement, employee development, benefits/wellness, compliance, and people analytics. Who You Are • Prior professional experience in Human Resources • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Technologically savvy • Understand the need for confidentiality as it relates to people data • Inquisitive and eager to learn • Driven by curiosity • You've been out of the workforce for 12 months or more (required!) Your Winter • Assist with onboarding new employees into Unanet, ensuring all necessary forms and documents are completed and returned • Work collaboratively with our HR team to ensure an outstanding employee experience through the employee journey • File documents into appropriate employee files, including leveraging Unanet's HRIS, Paylocity • Support programs involving employee experience, virtual events, community relations, engagement, and recognition • Assist in coordination of all employment verifications, mandated training, and new hire requests • Assist in managing communications and communication strategy for Unanet HR as well as engagement initiatives • Champion a successful remote-first work culture and demonstrate effective remote collaboration abilities yourself • Complete ad-hoc projects, as assigned Our Values • We are a Team.
