AWS Data Architect ( Onsite)
About the position The AWS Data Architect position at Cognizant is a full-time role focused on designing and implementing scalable data architectures and pipelines using AWS and Big Data technologies. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive experience in data modeling, cloud solutions, and data engineering to support the company's AI and analytics initiatives, particularly in the automotive industry. This role requires collaboration with clients and internal teams to create effective data solutions that drive business value. Responsibilities Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Big Data stack such as Databricks, Spark, Scala, Python, AWS S3, Glue, and Redshift. , Engage with customers and principal architects to understand business requirements and build AWS cloud big data platforms and solutions. , Create proof of concepts, implement frameworks, evaluate new products, and develop a roadmap for NextGen Technology and Digital Cloud First strategy. , Lead technical discussions with both internal and external vendors. , Provide cost analysis and recommendations for platform technologies to assist clients in making effective decisions. , Implement CI/CD data pipelines using GitHub, GHA, and Artifactory to automate the code build and promotion process. Requirements 12 to 14 years of experience in data architecture and data modeling for IoT data. , Extensive technical expertise in Spark, Scala, Databricks, Unity Catalog Admin, Amazon Redshift, Python, Databricks SQL, Databricks Delta Lake, Databricks Workflows, and PySpark. , Experience with AWS is a must; experience in Edge computing is preferred. , Ability to engage in projects collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members. Nice-to-haves Experience in the Automotive Industry is a plus.
