Mainframe Systems Engineer Senior/Lead

As amainframe systems engineer senior or leadin the Enterprise Systems Continuity Mainframe Services team, you'll perform mainframe systems programming tasks such as installing, testing, and deploying IBM and Independent Software Vendor (ISV) software including applying z/OS RSU maintenance and z/OS upgrades. You'll perform research and development efforts pertaining to the implementation of new features and capabilities within mainframe software and hardware. You'll also engineer, evaluate and design software deployment strategies and management processes. These duties will be done within assigned technology areas as needed.You'll partner with the subject matter expert on these efforts and help maintain technical roadmaps and assist in upgrade forecasting. Additionally, you'll gather trace data, logs, and other supporting material from all components and open service requests with vendors to provide ongoing support as needed. This is a remote position for US based work only.
