Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee financial accounts for various stakeholders within the horse racing community. Accurately process payments, disbursements, and conduct thorough account reconciliations. Deliver exceptional customer service to horsemen and other relevant stakeholders. Ensure precise and timely data entry along with diligent recordkeeping practices. Assist in the processing of jockey payroll and manage stake accounts effectively. Uphold compliance with all pertinent regulations and operational procedures. Required Skills A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting-related positions such as bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, or Accounts Receivable. Strong familiarity with accounting principles and financial record-keeping. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. High degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry applications. Experience with accounting software is advantageous. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory. Qualifications 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting roles. Deep understanding of accounting principles. Strong communication skills with a detail-oriented approach.
