About the position The Virtual Nurse-RN is a registered nurse who operates from a centralized location, collaborating with bedside nurses to advocate for patients and their families. This role focuses on providing comprehensive support—physical, emotional, and spiritual—to enhance patient outcomes in a safe environment. The Virtual RN employs the nursing process and evidence-based principles to manage a diverse patient caseload, ensuring compliance with nursing standards and regulations. Responsibilities • Collaborate with bedside nurses to advocate for patients and families. , • Provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients. , • Utilize the nursing process and evidence-based principles in patient care. , • Perform tasks including admissions, discharges, and patient education. , • Conduct patient rounding and participate in performance improvement initiatives. , • Ensure compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and Nursing Code of Ethics. Requirements • Valid Ohio RN license. , • Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited school. , • 3-5 years of job-related experience. , • Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability. , • Effective interpersonal and communication skills. , • Basic computer knowledge.
