TO: All Employees FROM: Superintendent of Schools Warren County School District Athletics and Co-Curricular Office SUBJECT: POSITION OPENINGS TO BE POSTED: August 7, 2024 EXPIRATION DATE: August 13, 2024 WARREN COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT - VIRTUAL ACADEMY / Online Instructors __________________________________________________________________ This is an announcement of several openings in the Warren County School District for Virtual Academy Online Instructors. This is a non-athletic supplemental contract with a salary in accordance with the negotiated agreement between the Warren County School District and the Warren County Education Association. The successful candidate must have the following qualifications, testing may be required - • Preferred full-time or multiple years of virtual teaching experience. • Certification within the content area • Excellent written and communication skills. • Proficient in email including the use of attachments. • Proficient in various means of technology • Must be able to create digital lessons by uploading files (photo, video, audio, and documents) and aligning content to standards. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, including the digital mark-up feature and other functions. • Must be familiar with video conferencing as a form of communication. • Proficient in managing files, recording and reporting grades electronically, and using computer applications including word processors, spreadsheets, Internet browsers, and web search engines. • Must complete required technology training to be proficient in system requirements. • Must be able to manage time wisely and work well independently. This position will be under the direction of the Virtual Academy Services Principal and will be evaluated by the principal.
