In this capacity, you'll oversee civil litigation proceedings and utilize digital tools to record all content, including witness testimonies. The Digital Reporter is responsible for: Overseeing proceedings as an independent custodian of the record. Administering oaths to witnesses and fulfilling responsibilities as a State Notary. Recording proceedings using high-fidelity audio technology to ensure clear and thorough documentation. Accurately annotating case events and terminology for precise transcription. Conducting comprehensive research and verifying information from diverse sources. Proficiently utilizing digital databases and online research tools. Qualifications: Hold a State Notary Commission or eligibility to acquire one Possess or be capable of obtaining certification or state licensure as required Familiarity with or openness to learning about U.S. civil proceedings Possession of or readiness to obtain digital reporting equipment Capability to confidently oversee live legal proceedings Fluent in English speaking, reading, and writing Proficient with technology, including strong keyboard skills Professional demeanor, reliability, punctuality, and presentability Willingness to work as an independent contractor Note: No shorthand nor stenography is required Willing to work both remotely and in person Advertisement: Digital Reporting is a rapidly evolving and highly sought-after profession.
