Job Posting: West Virginia General Education Teacher Location: West Virginia Teaching Certification Required Position: Full-Time Contract (Remainder of 2024/2025 School Year) Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for students with diverse needs, using ABA principles. • Collaborate with classroom staff, including paraprofessionals, to ensure effective support for students. • Provide direct instruction and support to a caseload of 12 high school students with varying disabilities. • Track and analyze student progress, adjusting strategies to maximize student growth and success. • Work closely with parents, administrators, and other support staff to promote positive outcomes for students. • Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth. Requirements: • West Virginia General Educator Teaching License • Core Subjects • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • The ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and paraprofessionals. • Must be authorized to work within the United States.
