You will adhere to established style guides to produce precise, verbatim transcripts. Key Responsibilities • Transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings with accuracy • Maintain strict adherence to style guidelines while producing transcripts • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail in all transcription tasks • Process audio materials while ensuring clarity and correctness Required Skills • Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription • Exceptional listening abilities • Strong adherence to deadlines and client-specific requirements • Outstanding literacy skills, encompassing comprehension, spelling, and grammar • Proficiency in typing, both in speed and accuracy • Capacity to process sensitive audio/content (may include offensive material) • Familiarity with legal terminology • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment • Willingness to undergo a background check • Court reporting students are also encouraged to apply Qualifications • Significant experience in legal transcription is required • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and work independently • Strong command of legal terminology is essential
