Job Description

The Onboard Safety Crew is tasked with monitoring and managing all safety protocols onboard Delta Airlines’ aircraft. This includes conducting pre-flight safety checks, briefing passengers on safety procedures, and responding to any emergencies that may occur during the flight. The successful candidate will work closely with the flight crew to ensure a seamless travel experience for all passengers. Responsibilities – Conduct pre-flight safety checks and inspections of emergency equipment. – Deliver safety demonstrations to passengers prior to takeoff. – Monitor passenger behavior to ensure compliance with safety regulations. – Respond effectively to emergency situations, including medical emergencies. – Assist passengers during boarding and disembarking processes. – Collaborate with the flight crew to maintain a safe and secure environment. – Report any safety concerns or incidents to the appropriate authorities. Requirements – Must possess a valid FAA Flight Attendant Certificate. – Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. – Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. – Strong problem-solving abilities and quick decision-making skills. – Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations. Educational Qualifications – High School Diploma or GED required. – Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Communications, or a related field preferred. Experience – Previous experience in a customer service role is highly desirable. – Prior experience in airline operations or safety procedures is a plus.
