Responsibilities: Show customers that they are valued by offering a cordial greeting as they arrive and a gracious farewell as they depart. Handle customer payments utilizing cash registers. As a cashier, it is your responsibility to scan the items, double-check the cost, receive the payment, and provide the buyer with change if necessary. Procure proof of payment, returns, reservations, and cash balance alterations. Guide customers through the complaint resolution process, provide them with relevant information, and ensure that their grievances are effectively resolved. A tidy checkout area helps to streamline the checkout process and reduce waiting times for customers. Monitor financial transactions on balance sheets meticulously and report any discrepancies. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Retail Cashier or in a related customer service field. Basic PC knowledge. Adept at operating electronic equipment, such as cash registers and point of sale terminals. Good math skills.
