Job Summary: As a warehouse assistant, you play a significant role in managing the facility's inventory. Your duties include receiving incoming materials, organizing inventory, picking orders, preparing outbound shipments, and operating forklifts. While doing so, you need to maintain quality control standards, follow safety protocols, and keep accurate records of all material movements. Responsibilities: • The operator must be cautious while operating a forklift when carrying loads, especially when taking corners, turning, or elevating the load • The opener, hopper, and lid system in railcars must undergo routine maintenance checks to avoid issues during use • Becoming an adept at performing routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure proper functioning of elevators • A clean and well-maintained environment may necessitate the use of different cleaning equipment, from sweeping brushes to high-powered air compressors, to ensure all areas are free from dirt and dust • A clean unloading area, railcar area, and equipment will promote an organized and efficient working space that will benefit the entire operation • Our organization is currently seeking technicians who are proficient in performing elementary maintenance work, including belt changes, greasing gears, and other essential tasks.
