American Express Company seeks Managers, Data Analytics to work on global data tools and systems to monitor and ensure the integrity and quality of data. Transform and enhance existing data and system capabilities to ensure best data decision capabilities for the enterprise. Build analytical platforms to support data discovery, analysis, and business insights. Leverage best-in-class analytics and... data science principles to identify trends and leverage anomalies in customer behavior. Work to identify patterns and opportunities from customer data history through data mining techniques to help launch new products and experiences for cardmembers. Perform data sourcing for reporting and analytics for company's complete consumer marketing services. Position requires a Master's degree in Statistics, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing Analytics, or a related field, and 2 years of experience with data and business analysis. Experience must include 1 year of experience with each of the following: performing data analysis to gain organizational insights and identify cost reductions; developing data analysis processes and analytics; using raw data to create a dashboard; using PostgreSQL to create business processes; using MS Excel to structure data and generate models and reports including forecasting reports; forecasting using SQL; reporting data analytic findings to management; conducting feasibility and profitability analyses for new credit products; identifying data outliers; and Big Data, Hadoop, machine learning, R, SPSS, SQL, and Tableau. Telecommuting is available up to 2 days per week.
