Hybrid Virtual Receptionist - Behavioral Health

Responsibilities • Provide outstanding customer service to patients and families during telephone, email, and virtual interactions. • Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups for behavioral health services. • Obtain and verify patient information and insurance details, ensuring accurate data entry into the system. • Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries and provide appropriate resources as needed. • Facilitate communication between patients and our behavioral health providers, ensuring timely responses to inquiries. • Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. • Maintain accurate patient charts and records, ensuring seamless transitions between care providers. • Support the administrative team with additional tasks as needed to ensure efficient operations. • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare or behavioral health preferred. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service. • Ability to empathize with patients and maintain a supportive environment. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems. • Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks. • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare or customer service role preferred. • Knowledge of behavioral health terminology and services is a plus. • Familiarity with insurance processes and healthcare regulations preferred.
