Job Description
As a Delta Airlines Flight Attendant, you will ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our passengers during flights. Your role involves delivering high standards of customer service, managing in-flight sales, and performing safety procedures. Ideal candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability to varied shifts, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-paced environment.
Responsibilities
– Conduct pre-flight safety checks and ensure the aircraft is clean and ready for boarding.
– Greet passengers, assist with seating assignments, and resolve passenger concerns with professionalism.
– Demonstrate emergency and safety procedures while maintaining a calm demeanor.
– Serve beverages and meals, sell onboard products, and process transactions.
– Provide special care for passengers when required, such as children, elderly, or passengers with specific needs.
– Adhere to all aviation rules and regulations to maintain the safety and security of flight operations.
Requirements
– Must be at least 21 years of age.
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and medical evaluation.
– Possess a valid passport or the ability to acquire one.
– Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle stress effectively.
– Physically fit to perform the duties of a flight attendant, including the handling of luggage up to 50 pounds.
– Flexibility to work various shifts and answer last-minute calls.
Educational Qualifications
– Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
– Further certifications in hospitality, customer service, or similar fields are advantageous but not essential.
