Job Summary:
Join our team at FedEx Corporation, a worldwide leader in logistics and express delivery services. We are looking for a dedicated Home Delivery Driver to join our team part-time, working 4 hours per day. Description:
As a FedEx Home Delivery Driver, your workday will revolve around activities such as picking up and delivering packages to homes and businesses within your assigned territory, maintaining accurate logs of your deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. You will be expected to maintain safe driving habits and a professional appearance at all times. Your ability to work independently, manage time effectively and navigate efficiently will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
2. Pick up and deliver packages within your targeted area.
3. Follow all FedEx procedures and standards regarding delivery and customer service.
4. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records.
5. Provide excellent customer service to all FedEx customers.
Requirements:
1. Valid state driver’s license.
2. A clean driving record.
3. Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
4. Excellent customer service skills.
5. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Educational Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Previous experience in a delivery driver role would be advantageous but not mandatory as full training will be provided.
