Job Description

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will be responsible for the safety and security of our Spartanburg facility. This includes patrolling the premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, as well as ensuring the safety of our staff, clients, and visitors.

Responsibilities

– Ensure the facility is provided with high-quality security services to protect people and property

– Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing

– Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with both client employees and guests

– Answer questions and assist guests and employees

Requirements

– Must be at least 18 years of age

– Valid guard card/license or ability to obtain one

– Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills

– Must be able to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently

Education and Experience

– High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required

– Proven experience as security officer or guard preferred
