Job Summary:
Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a part-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our dynamic team. We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality care to our pet patients and are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic professional to be the first contact for our valued clients. This part-time position includes working less than four hours daily with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, paid training, and paid vacations.
Job Description:
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be at the heart of our operations, managing the front desk, ensuring the smooth running of the daily routine of our hospital, and delivering the highest level of customer service. Key Responsibilities:
– Greeting clients and pets by name, making them feel welcome
– Answering phone calls promptly, professionally, and politely
– Scheduling appointments and manage client records within our computer system
– Providing general information, pricing, and recommend services
– Processing payments and maintaining a balanced cash drawer
– Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the hospital
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette
– Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
– Ability to work weekends and holidays
– Experience with Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications:
– Previous experience in a veterinary setting or medical office
– Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
