Job Summary:

Starbucks Coffee is seeking a part-time Barista for our West Jordan location. The successful candidate will work less than 4 hours per day and will be rewarded with competitive hourly wage plus tips. We offer comprehensive health and dental coverage, paid training, and paid vacations.

Job Description:

The Barista will create a welcoming environment for our customers by providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for preparing and serving Starbucks beverages while maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment.

Responsibilities:

– Prepare and serve beverages according to Starbucks recipes

– Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment

– Provide excellent customer service to all customers

– Restock supplies and merchandise as needed

– Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately

– Participate in all store training and coffee tasting sessions

Requirements:

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills

– Ability to work well within a team

– Ability to handle cash transactions accurately

– Ability to stand for long periods of time

– Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

Educational Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is required for this position.

Experience:

Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred but not required.
