Job Summery:
We are looking for a part-time Retail Cashier to join our team at Walmart. The position is under 4 hours daily and offers a competitive hourly wage of $15. Our company provides a comprehensive benefits package including health and dental insurance, paid training, and paid vacations.
Job Description:
As a Retail Cashier, you will be the face of our company and play a crucial role in ensuring a satisfactory shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for handling cash transactions, assisting customers, maintaining cleanliness of checkout areas, and performing other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
– Handle cash transactions with customers using cash registers
– Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
– Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
– Greet customers when entering or leaving establishments
– Keep reports of transactions
– Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
– Redeem stamps and coupons
– Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
Requirements:
– Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash register, scanners, money counters etc)
– Strong communication and time management skills
– Customer satisfaction-oriented
– Attention to detail and mathematical skills
– Sales skills
Educational Qualifications:
A high school degree or equivalent is required for this position. Previous retail experience will be considered an advantage, but is not necessary as we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
