Job Title: Data Entry Specialist (Part-Time) – Tyler

Job Summary:

We are looking to hire a diligent, focused, and accurate Part-Time Data Entry Specialist at our Tyler, Texas location. This is a part-time position with a commitment of under 4 hours per day. Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for entering data into our database from paper documents. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail. You will report to a data manager or another senior data team member. Understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory.

Responsibilities:

– Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners

– Type in data provided directly from customers or other parties, verify data by comparing it to source documents

– Update existing data, retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested

– Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation

– Organize and maintain files and records; update when necessary

– Create and enforce policies for effective data management

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk

– Fast typing skills

– Excellent knowledge of word processing tools

– Basic understanding of databases

– Great attention to detail

Educational Qualifications:

– High School Diploma or equivalent

– Additional computer training or certification will be an asset
