Job Summary
Instacart, a fast-growing retail delivery service across the US, is currently seeking part-time Express Delivery Drivers to join our team. As an Express Delivery Driver, you will ensure the timely, accurate and professional delivery of groceries to our customers, providing a first-class service that consistently exceeds expectations.
Job Description
In this role, you will be the face of Instacart, delivering groceries and other retail items from popular local stores directly to the customer’s doorstep. You will manage the entire delivery process, from picking up the items at the store to delivering them to the customer, ensuring accuracy and timeliness at every step.
Responsibilities
– Collecting items from local stores based on customers’ orders
– Delivering items to customer’s doorstep in a timely manner
– Ensuring the accuracy of the orders and the quality of items delivered
– Providing excellent customer service, addressing any issues or inquiries from customers in a professional manner
– Complying with all traffic and safety laws
Requirements
– Must be at least 21 years old
– Valid U.S. drivers license and clean driving record
– Ability to lift heavy items and packages (up to 50 lbs)
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
– Access to a reliable vehicle
– Smartphone with the Instacart app installed
Qualifications
– High School Diploma or equivalent
– Prior delivery experience is a plus, but not required
