Job Description:

We are looking for a professional and experienced Heavy Haul Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibility of this role is to transport heavy haul loads across different states, ensuring safe and timely delivery. As a Heavy Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for maintaining logbooks and truck performance, planning routes, and managing schedules.

Responsibilities:

– Operate heavy haul trucks to transport goods and materials over long distances

– Plan trips and establish travel schedules

– Record cargo information, distance traveled, fuel consumption, and other information in log books

– Follow all safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods

– Perform preventive maintenance

– Ensure the truck is loaded and unloaded safely

– Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel

– Follow traffic laws

Requirements:

– Valid CDL-A license

– Previous truck driving experience, Heavy Haul experience preferred

– Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects

– Able to pass a drug test and background check

– Excellent hearing and vision

– Knowledge of truck mechanics is a plus

Educational Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent required

– Vocational training or certification in heavy truck driving is a plus
