Job Description:

As a Mail Clerk, your role will be critical in ensuring smooth operations within our mailroom. This includes sorting and distributing mail, packages, and interoffice correspondence. You will also be expected to maintain records of incoming and outgoing mail, handle postage, and communicate with other departments as necessary.

Responsibilities:

– Sort and distribute incoming mail to appropriate departments or individuals

– Process outgoing mail, ensuring it is correctly labeled and postage is applied

– Maintain records of incoming and outgoing correspondences

– Operate mail handling machines

– Handle sensitive and confidential information in a trustworthy manner

– Communicate effectively with various departments and team members

– Ensure cleanliness and organization within the mailroom

Requirements:

– High School Diploma or equivalent

– Proficiency in English

– Strong organizational skills

– Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially

– Excellent communication skills

– Ability to work effectively in a team

Experience:

Previous experience in a mailroom or similar environment is preferred but not required.
