Authorization Coordinator-Part Time (Remote) Empowering Minds Resource Center is looking for a candidate to submit authorizations for behavioral health program services... Job Duties: Review provider clinical documentation to ensure compliance with COMAR and/or CARF regulations. Responsible for submitting PRP, OMHC and Care Coordination authorizations and gathering supporting documentation (i.e. Collaborations, referral and diagnostics). Acts as a liaison with OPTUM to provide feedback on system updates, authorization requirements (# of required visits). Pull authorization list weekly and communicate with client services. Follow up with authorizations until processing. Check authorizations daily Maintains accurate records of all communication and documentation in the EHR system. Meet weekly with PRP Director. Other duties as assigned Qualifications: BA Degree and experience preferred Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization. Strong personal, phone, and written customer communication skills. Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or agency goals. Ability to manage time effectively, work independently and be self-motivated. Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills. Excellent computer skills Apply Job!
