Remote Special Education Teaching Opportunity Overview... We are seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher for a flexible remote role, focused on delivering critical support to K-12 students through interactive live videoconferencing sessions. Role Details As an independent contractor, you will receive specialized software, comprehensive training, and ongoing technical support to effectively provide special education services online. Qualifications • Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field • Certification in Special Education for New Hampshire, or eligibility to obtain it • Experience in creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with school teams and families Responsibilities • Provide virtual instruction and support tailored to students' unique needs and IEP goals • Conduct virtual assessments, evaluations, and monitor student progress • Collaborate closely with school staff, parents, and caregivers to ensure students' success and well-being • Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and the services provided Requirements • Own liability and general insurance • Comfortable working as an independent contractor • Home computer with high-speed internet and proficiency in virtual teaching platforms • Successful completion of a basic tech screening If you are passionate about impacting students’ lives positively and thrive in a remote setting, we encourage you to reach out!
