The Business Product Advisor will, under minimal supervision, define and clearly articulate requirements (user stories) and acceptance criteria (user cases). About the Team ... We are seeking two Business Product Advisors to take leadership roles in the ongoing development and optimization of Planview Portfolios. As a Business Product Advisor, you will be responsible for defining the vision and roadmap for the product, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that our solutions meet the evolving needs of FedEx. This is a strategic role requiring a deep understanding of business portfolio management, strong leadership skills, and a passion for driving product excellence. Responsibilities - Product Vision and Strategy: • Define and articulate the product vision and strategy for Planview Portfolios. • Align product goals with business objectives, market trends, and customer needs. • Create and maintain a product roadmap that reflects priorities and strategic direction. • Stakeholder Collaboration: • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, customers, and the development team. • Gather and prioritize product requirements from various stakeholders. • Communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap to internal teams and stakeholders. Product Development and Management: • Lead the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features. • Collaborate with development teams to define detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. • Manage the product backlog, making prioritization decisions based on business value, customer feedback, and technical feasibility. • Market and Competitive Analysis: • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats. • Leverage insights to inform product decisions and maintain a competitive edge in the market. Customer Advocacy: • Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring that customer needs and pain points are addressed in the product. • Engage with customers to gather feedback and understand their evolving requirements. • Performance Metrics and KPIs: • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and impact. • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize product performance. Leadership and Mentorship: • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the product team. • Addition Duties as assigned Skills - • Strong understanding of portfolio management solutions, preferably with experience using Planview Portfolios or similar products. • Proven track record of delivering successful software products from ideation to launch. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions. • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Digital.ai Agility or Azure DevOps. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Education Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems and/or equivalent. Minimum Experience Five (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment. Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement. Pay: Annual Salary Range $85,130 - $150,397 Domicile Information: This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.
