We are seeking academic coaches for College Admissions Planning and College Essay Advising to work online. Qualifications: ?Bachelor? Degree or higher ?RECENT or CURRENT tutoring/teaching experience; 1:1 college counseling and/or college admission experience ?Passion for educating and building confidence ?Clear communication skills ?Willingness to commit for at least a semester ?Must be able to pass a background check ?Three to five years of college admission experience with an established record of success in helping students achieve admission to highly competitive colleges. ?Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. colleges and universities, current admissions trends, and an understanding of international admissions policies. ?Majors ?Programs ?Qualifications ?Effectively manage time and meet deadlines ?Rapport Building and Approachability ?Google Suite, Zoom Video Conferencing, Online Scheduling, familiarity with education management systems, and learning new user interfaces. Responsibilities: ?Provide guidance to high school students on career exploration, academic course selection, standardized testing plans, extracurricular activities, and college list development. ?Manage the college application process with high school students through advising on improving the chance of acceptance, meeting critical deadlines, and essay development. ?Ability to effectively communicate with parents/guardians/students.
