Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Customer Service Representative to join the arenaflex Member Services team. In this role, you will provide telephone assistance to arenaflex Medicaid members and health‑care providers, handling inquiries related to eligibility, benefits, provider changes, and ID card requests. This position offers a hybrid work model—remote work with occasional on‑site days in Princeton, NJ—ensuring you have the flexibility you need while staying connected to the team.
Key Details
- Location: Must reside within 50 miles of Princeton, NJ.
- Training Schedule (First 6 weeks): Monday‑Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST.
- Production Schedule (After Training): Monday‑Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST.
- Remote Work Requirements: High‑speed internet via Ethernet (Wi‑Fi not permitted), dedicated workspace, and self‑discipline.
- Compensation Range: $17.00 – $34.15 per hour, based on experience, education, and location.
Core Responsibilities
As a Member Service Representative, you will be the voice of arenaflex, delivering consistent, high‑quality support to our members and provider partners. Your day‑to‑day duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Answering inbound member and provider calls with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy.
- Providing clear information on benefits, eligibility, prior authorizations, and supplemental programs.
- Processing provider change requests, updating member records, and issuing ID cards.
- Maintaining compliance with privacy and security standards, ensuring all interactions are documented in arenaflex’s CRM system.
- Meeting performance metrics such as average handle time, first‑call resolution, and quality scores.
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams—including claims, enrollment, and IT—to resolve complex inquiries.
- Participating in ongoing training sessions, role‑plays, and knowledge‑base updates to stay current on policy changes.
- Escalating unresolved issues to senior specialists while maintaining ownership of the customer experience.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to commute to the Princeton office when technical issues prevent remote work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clarity and empathy.
- Demonstrated ability to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals.
