Position Overview

arenaflex is hiring a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our Live Chat Support team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our Voice of the Customer (VOC) operations, processing high volumes of customer feedback and survey data that directly inform the strategic decisions of our business leaders. Working remotely from Djibouti, you will earn a competitive hourly rate of $35/hour while contributing to a globally impactful customer listening initiative that processes more than 5 million surveys annually across more than 20 countries and in over 10 languages. Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Data Processing: Accurately enter, transcribe, and organize customer feedback collected through live chat interactions and digital survey platforms, ensuring data integrity across all touchpoints.
  • Live Chat Support: Provide real-time, professional, and empathetic responses to customer inquiries through our live chat interface, delivering the exceptional service experience that arenaflex is known for globally.
  • Voice of the Customer Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, relationship managers, and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements and translate them into actionable data deliverables.
  • Survey and Dashboard Support: Assist in the design, programming, and maintenance of the end-to-end Voice of the Customer methodology, including more than 40 distinct survey instruments integrated with industry-leading platforms.
  • Data Architecture and Modeling: Develop robust data models to support efficient processing, standardized metric definitions, and high-quality analytical outputs that drive business decisions.
  • Big Data and Analytical Solutions: Leverage modern data technologies and methodologies to deliver innovative solutions, ensuring data accuracy through rigorous testing at both the variable and use-case level.
  • Process Automation: Proactively identify manual tasks and design automation strategies to improve operational efficiency, quality, and turnaround time.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with technology teams, agile squads, and external partners to prioritize, define, develop, and validate data for diverse use cases as part of the end-to-end VOC strategy.
  • User Story Analysis: Contribute to user story elaboration, design discussions, and the development of software applications, testing frameworks, and build automation tools.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide recommendations to enhance capabilities and drive efficiency improvements in computing programs within the broader data ecosystem.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in data-driven roles, with demonstrated proficiency in data processing, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong working knowledge of big data technologies including Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python.
  • Proven experience with PySpark, Hive/Hadoop, Python, and shell scripting languages for development, release management, and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with relationship managers and product owners to understand business requirements and convert them into technical deliverables.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a track record of maintaining high data quality standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in a live chat or digital support context.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to thrive in a fully remote work environment.
  • A reliable internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace suitable for handling sensitive customer data.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with survey platforms such as Qualtrics or similar customer experience management tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the concept of delivering incremental product updates at regular intervals.
  • Experience working in a global, multi-language, multi-country customer operations environment.
  • Exposure to Voice of the Customer (VOC) programs or customer listening initiatives.
  • Background in financial services, customer experience, or large-scale data operations is a strong plus.
  • Multilingual capabilities are highly valued, particularly in languages relevant to the regions we serve.
