[Remote] Fractional Business Development Partner – Leadership Development
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The National Academy of Leadership Development (NALD) is dedicated to fostering people-first leadership and enhancing workplace culture. They are seeking a Fractional Business Development Partner to help expand their reach and generate opportunities for leadership workshops, speaking engagements, and consulting services across the country.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and developing qualified leads in aligned markets, industries, and communities
- Building relationships with CEOs, HR leaders, L&D leaders, business owners, nonprofit executives, association leaders, faith-based leaders, and other decision-makers
- Helping book paid speaking engagements, workshops, retreats, public programs, and client events
- Representing NALD’s mission, values, and offerings with professionalism, humility, and integrity
- Maintaining a simple pipeline of prospects, conversations, opportunities, and next steps
- Collaborating with NALD leadership to determine fit, pricing, scope, and next steps for qualified opportunities
- Sharing market feedback to help refine messaging, positioning, offerings, and outreach strategy
- Serving as a trusted ambassador for the Priceless Leadership Movement and the people-first leadership philosophy behind it
Skills
- Strong alignment with NALD's mission, values, and belief in people-first leadership, servant leadership, and healthy workplace cultures
- Proven experience in business development, relationship-based sales, consulting, speaking, training, HR, learning and development, organizational development, professional services, or a related field
- Ability to build trust quickly with executive-level and senior organizational leaders
- Strong communication, networking, and relationship management skills
- Comfort initiating conversations, following up with prospects, and nurturing opportunities over time
- Existing network or market presence in one or more aligned sectors, such as business, nonprofit, faith-based, hospitality, healthcare, education, government, associations, or professional services
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fractional, commission-based contractor role
- High standards of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and ethical business development
- A passion for helping organizations create workplaces where people feel seen, valued, trusted, supported, and empowered to grow
- Experience selling leadership development, training, consulting, coaching, speaking, events, or professional services is strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent professional experience and proven relationship-building success are highly valued
