[Remote] Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager

MongoDB is a company that empowers customers and employees to innovate at market speed, and they are seeking a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager to lead the positioning and messaging for MongoDB Search and Vector Search. The role involves collaborating with various teams to drive strategy, create technical content, and execute product launches to enhance adoption and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Drive Strategy & Execution: Act as a strategic partner for high-impact initiatives that align with MongoDB’s long-term business goals in collaboration with Marketing, Developer Relations, Product Management, Engineering, Partners, and Sales
• Drive GTM Excellence: Enable teams with data-driven positioning, messaging, and persona development. You will advise teams on the best tactics to influence diverse audiences
• Build Technical Content: Create compelling technical content that educates audiences on how and why Search and Vector Search enable advanced information retrieval as part of AI application and agentic system building
• Dive Deep Into Data: Serve as a subject matter expert on search and retrieval, shifting application development patterns, and how embedding and reranking models fit into the AI stack by gathering data from diverse sources and synthesizing it for internal and external audiences
• Execute Product Launches: Develop and execute cross-functional launch strategies for new Search and Vector Search functionality and capabilities that grow adoption and revenue

Skills

• Proven experience with 5-8 years in product marketing, product management, developer relations, or solutions engineering, preferably in B2B technology, AI/ML, cloud, and/or enterprise software, with a strong track record of success
• A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, where you are trusted to help develop and execute strategies to meet business objectives
• Proven ability to bring strong, data-driven judgment to day-to-day work
• High-bar communication (both verbal and written), capable of influencing the priorities of cross-functional teams and senior leaders. You should be excited to deliver your perspectives and progress to leadership
• Deep understanding of the fundamentals of technology (ideally databases, cloud infrastructure, the developer landscape, and how they are connected to embedding models and generative AI) and the ability to effectively connect a product area to its business impact
• Genuine empathy for customer challenges and pain points, with the ability to understand the common use cases and implementation specifics that customers are facing
• A strong bias for action and the ability to decompose problems into effective solutions and drive execution cross-functionally
• A low ego-to-talent ratio and ability to effectively represent the company as a subject matter expert in executive-level customer calls, analyst briefings, and public appearances
• Hands-on experience building or shipping AI-enabled products is a strong advantage
• Individuals with prior experience in technical sales, developer relations, or technical marketing are encouraged to apply
