[Remote] IT - Revenue Cycle Application Analyst III - Cadence - Remote

The Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst III is responsible for collaborating with management to address system needs and enhance revenue cycle processes, while also providing technical support and ensuring effective communication within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating independently with system management to identify, analyze, prioritize and resolve system needs
  • Using cases, workflows and metrics to configure, maintain and monitor systems, along with providing suggestions for potential application modifications, enhancements or process changes
  • Developing functional specifications and operational process flows, department procedures, business requirements or other necessary documentation for approved system enhancements or modifications
  • Demonstrating strong knowledge of IS internal department processes as well as software application support
  • Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of computer systems, applications and interfaces
  • Demonstrating proficiency in all skills required to facilitate complex applications and system enhancements or replacements
  • Demonstrating advanced proficiency in creating detailed documentation, including system design documentation, procedures, process and data flows
  • Demonstrating an advanced understanding of revenue cycle operations
  • Demonstrating attention to detail in data gathering, specifications development and documentation and recording
  • Producing and providing analysis through reports, dashboards and analytic tools to management
  • Developing Metrics and KPI's designed to monitor the performance of management and staff in achieving SLA's adhering to process and the timely recording of pertinent data
  • Following up on errors to determine root cause and recommend solution
  • Developing reports and plans database additions taking reporting needs into consideration
  • Supporting multiple concurrent projects and/or application modules, educating and coaching other team members and managing user expectations
  • Demonstrating initiative, creativity and flexibility in problem resolution
  • Exercising good judgment
  • Effectively managing work time while handling more than one assignment at a time
  • Prioritizing work assignments to ensure the appropriate work is being completed
  • Demonstrating integrity, credibility and personal accountability
  • Setting high work standards

Skills

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Information Management OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 years experience in healthcare related setting with knowledge of Patient Access / Revenue Cycle / Business systems
  • Understanding of information system technology and database applications is necessary
  • Complete education and pass certification in assigned EPIC application module(s) within 120 days of completed education
  • Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to support for systems/ applications to which assigned (i.e. Registration, Billing, Coding, Scheduling, Charge Master, and Revenue Integrity as applicable)
