[Remote] Associate Technical Consultant

They are seeking an early-career Associate Technical Consultant who will develop and deploy software applications based on client requirements while collaborating with senior developers. The role emphasizes building high-quality solutions, learning the Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystem, and contributing to the full delivery lifecycle of projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy software applications based on client requirements, owning your work from build through delivery while collaborating with senior developers
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code across various platforms and technologies (e.g., web, mobile, cloud)
- Collaborate with client stakeholders, consultants, and other developers to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Contribute to architectural discussions and apply sound development strategies and implementation approaches
- Help ensure applications are secure and reliable, following team standards for quality and user experience
- Familiarity with coding agents and ability to integrate coding agents into coding workflows
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for maximum performance, reliability, and scalability
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies, applying them to improve development processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and effective project delivery
- Document processes, workflows, and technical specifications to support knowledge sharing and project continuity
- Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and contribute to high-quality standards
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline
- 1-2 years of experience in software development, including internships, coursework projects, or personal projects
- Awareness of security best practices and a willingness to learn how applications meet security standards
- Exposure to APIs and integrating third-party services, either through coursework or hands-on projects
- Working familiarity with the software development lifecycle, including version control (Git), unit testing, and code quality standards
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies and an interest in working on collaborative teams
- Working knowledge of at least one programming language such as C#, Java, or JavaScript, with exposure to frameworks like .NET, React, Angular, or Node.js
- Basic experience with database management systems such as SQL or PostgreSQL, including writing queries and understanding schema design
- Curiosity about cloud platforms and cloud-native application design, with some exposure to Microsoft Azure preferred
- Strong ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to new development challenges
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on finding efficient, scalable, and maintainable solutions
- A self-directed team player who thrives in a fully remote environment and communicates proactively across time zones
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software
- Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage your time effectively, and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable with ambiguity and changes in requirements, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
- Experience with enterprise-level applications, such as Microsoft 365 Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and SharePoint (SPFx), is a plus, but not required
